2001• Prior to performing abhishekam to Sri Meru, The SPH performs ablutions to the sacred Mother Cauvery River. Following this the SPH personally performs abhisheka (sacred bath) to the Meru (3-dimensional representation of the cosmos) to nurture the devotion towards these rituals as tools to attain Oneness with Paramashiva.
